IT Support Technician IV - I. We currently have two openings for this position. One will be
located in Lawton, Oklahoma. The second will be located in Lawton, Weatherford or Clinton.

Perform with and without direct supervision. Respond to trouble calls/tickets, remediate problems, install radio and computer equipment in vehicles, do installation and maintenance of Land Mobile Radio, Microwave and EMS/SCADA equipment at local and remote sites. Do installation, maintenance and repair of various IT related equipment, utilizing accepted practices and procedures. Perform basic testing and troubleshooting, and maintain required documentation. Provide assistance to others as directed. Work safely at all times and exhibit a positive, customer-focused attitude.
Focus on safe work practices.
Acquire knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures.
Utilize knowledge gained to assist others in an area.
Focus on learning and advancing present levels of competency in required areas.
Work to acquire an understanding of business unit and customer requirements.
Remain flexible to changing work schedules and priorities, adjusting resource demands as required.
Develop a working knowledge of databases and record keeping systems for project and asset tracking.
Follow and ensure all AEP Policies, Procedures and Safety Guidelines are adhered to at all times.
Placement in range for successful candidate depends upon experience. A minimum of an Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience. One to two years IT work experience preferred. Focus on delivering excellent customer service at all times., Technical Proficiency: Exhibit a basic knowledge in one or more of the following major technical disciplines., 1. Computer Systems -Exhibit a basic understanding of computer hardware components handheld units (including PDAs), printers and configuration standards of, operating systems, software applications, file structures, and permissions. Learns the trouble ticketing and Asset Management systems. Demonstrate a basic understanding of maintenance techniques and requirements for safe operation., 2. EMS/SCADA Systems -Exhibits a basic understanding and is able to install various types of RTU equipment under direct supervision. Able to apply safe work practices and procedures. Exhibit a basic understanding of telemetry equipment and is able to apply basic troubleshooting practices and procedures. Exhibit a basic understanding of power systems, UPS and related equipment., 3. Networking Systems - Demonstrate a basic understanding of LAN/WAN systems and requirements. Have basic understanding of digital terminating devices and required hardware. Demonstrate a basic understanding of safe maintenance practices and procedures. Exhibit basic understanding of various wiring requirements and practices. Demonstrate a basic understanding of IP systems and architecture. 4. Radio Systems -Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of Land Mobile systems, including all types of two way radio equipment, including remote control, multiple access, GPS and antenna systems required for each. Demonstrate basic understanding of control methods involving multi-site controller, data gateways and telephone interconnect systems. Develop basic understanding of IP related radio systems., 5. Transport Systems - Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of equipment used in the transport of telecommunications signals, including analog/digital/spread spectrum microwave and fiber optic systems. Demonstrate understanding of fiber optic cable and splice methods and requirements. Exhibit a basic understanding of channel multiplexing methods and techniques. Understand basic wiring requirements involving AC/DC power systems., 6. Voice/Video Systems - Exhibit a basic understanding of voice/video systems, including PBX, key systems, voice mail and video conferencing equipment. Develop basic understanding of IP telephony. Exhibit a basic understanding of wiring requirements and installation methods.

Oil & Gas Company is needing a full-time senior level MS SQL Server DBA. Responsibilities include:
*Database modification and troubleshooting.
*Manage test and production environment setups (integration, migration)
*Monitor allocation of memory, procedure cache, and hash buckets, etc.
*Design, implement, troubleshoot and optimize relational database components
*Upgrades & Data Architecture, Security
*Backup & disaster recovery.
*Pro-active monitoring (alarms)
Additionally, this individual will be responsible for developing a change control structure. Languages in use are VB and C#.
Individual MUST be a self-starter with a proven track record of performance and be able to work late hours from home on occasion. Extensive experience w/ SQL Server, MS Tools . Strong background and experience with relational database administration. University degree or DBA certifications a plus. Knowledge of VB and C# a plus.
